Taxi from Marseille airport to Toulon port

Hello, We are thinking of booking a RCL cruise that departs from Toulon, but flights are coming out very high for Toulon airport, but to Marseille they are more reasonable, does anybody now how much a taxi might be from airport to port or any alternative methods of transport thanks all:D

WOW! You are talking about a 50 mile drive plus about 7 Euros in tolls. Taxis in the south of France are very expensive and they would charge you for their time and mileage round trip (since they cannot take return fares) so one could guess your fare would be in the hundreds of Euros. We have often been critical of several cruise lines using Toulon and this is just one of the reasons. You might want to check with your cruise line to see if they offer some kind of transfer from Marseille.

Have you considered renting a car and driving?

Oh wow!! didn't realise it was that far:( Maybe it will be easier and cheaper! just to fly to Toulon in the first place or book the cruise to get on elsewhere. It seems so much cheaper to DIY but it is much easier to book a fly-cruise with transfers etc, arghhhhh:mad: thanks for your help, saved me making an expensive mistake :rolleyes:

You could take the airport shuttle into MRS, then a train to Toulon but frankly I would pay the extra for a flight direct to Toulon. It will almost certainly work out cheaper.
