digginthedirt Posted January 29, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2012 We are sailing on the Epic in a few weeks. We're flying in to MIA the morning of the cruise. I'd like to buy all our conditioner, sunscreen etc. at a drug mart, cvs or rite aid just before we board. We'll just take a taxi from the airport and ask the driver to stop. Where should I ask him to go? Does anyone have a place they stop to do this? THANK YOU in advance :)

Inuvikcouple Posted January 29, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 29, 2012 I know that there is a CVS close by because I've walked there from the Holiday Inn. Sorry I don't have an address.
youngestof9 Posted January 29, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 29, 2012 There's a CVS on Biscayne Blvd. which is not far from the port.
garycarla Posted January 29, 2012 #6 Share Posted January 29, 2012 We always buy the stuff at home and put in the suitcase. Much easier that way.
krolyat Posted January 29, 2012 #7 Share Posted January 29, 2012 Before traveling I always shop here: http://www.minimus.biz/ Minimus normally has everything and even the unique items that you've never seen in travel/trial size. :)

xenagurl Posted January 29, 2012 #9 Share Posted January 29, 2012 Another vote for Minimus. It makes travel easy!
cb at sea Posted January 29, 2012 #10 Share Posted January 29, 2012 If you are checking your bags, there is no liquid limit....just put your toiletries into your checked bag! If you are doing carry-on only, then Minimus is a good option...tons of travel-sized items. Remember tho, with sunscreen, you need 1 oz (a shotglass full!) per adult every 2 hours to be protected...so you will need more than those little "travel" bottles! digginthedirt Posted January 30, 2012 Author #12 Share Posted January 30, 2012 We just thought that it may be easier to buy it once we got off the plane instead of a suitcase with all our extras. Thanks for the sunscreen reminder :)
