Have booked 1621 but wonder now if the view is poor as its just after the hump. Which is the best way to go? Mid-ship. portside? starboard? How big is the overhang. Any info be appreciated

If you go to the Celebrity board here at CC, they have a sticky at the top of the page with descriptions of cabins on Solstice class ships. I'm sure you can find what you want there. EM

While you may not be able to see the very front of the ship, it won't matter....you'll still have a wide-open, full view out to sea! The hump area isn't like a "wall" in front of you...it's simply a curvature......your view will be fine.

 

The side of the ship won't matter, as the ship doesn't dock in the same place or same direction everytime...you have a 50/50 chance of facing what you want at every port.

Thank you all for helpful input. Think I will leave as is.Having never had a balcony before Im sure it will be great for those times when mere male is having a nap and I can enjoy a wine or two.
