Late Dining??

We have always had assigned dining so this trip I thought we would try anytime dining. How does it work? Is it in the same dining room as early and late dining? DH is concerned with how it works and if it is going to be in the MDR.

 

If you've had late dining what did you think of it? Would you do it again?

Just like going out at home to eat dinner. You go anytime between usually 5:45 and 9:30 to the designated dining room. Tell the hostess if you want to eat alone or with others.

Upside is u eat when u want. Downside is you don't get same wait staff so u lose personalization.

 

I prefer early sitting when we have the kids and late sitting when it's me and DW

We have done MT four times, never had a problem until we were on the Magic. The wait time for a table was 20-40 minutes about four nights of the cruise.

Thank you for the information. I did figure it was like when you eat out at home, but DH was really concerned. I told him not to worry he will still get his lobster. :p

On Carnival Imagination, one whole dining room was MyTime Dining.
