Flights ar Holiday Time

Just a question about flights. Wondering if anyone has experience with book flights during Christmas/New Years and when the best time to book is. We are in Canada but will be flying out of Buffalo ( Canadian flights are 2 or 3 times as much) to Ft Lauderdale. Does anyone know how far advanced to book to get the best price??

We have booked 6 months out over Christmas and New Years. And...always book a day ahead of time. We come from New England and as you know the weather up north here is very unpredictable. Good luck!

I would just watch flights and get them when you see a price you can live with. I followed flights for a cpl months and when they were released I booked, and they have only gone up sonce

Best prices are normally 90 - 120 out.

Check Southwest they will have good prices as soon as they are released which is 6 months out. So in about 2 months they should be released

I think most airlines have these airfare alerts? You put in the city pairs, and it will email you when the price drops below a certain level? Do that with any airline you are considering. (Saved myself a lot of money heading to Prague last year.)
