Freedom Cabin No. 9396 and 9696

No obstructions, but they are both connecting rooms to an "inside" cabin.

 

Exactly why I booked one. One for me and DW and one for DDs...guess who gets the balcony

I've stayed in the similar set up on Adventure, which is a Voyager class ship. If they are the same set up, there was no obstruction, but the reason the connecting room next door is an inside is because the window washing equipment is stored where the balcony of the inside cabin would be.

We've booked one of those along with the connecting inside on Freedom. Great way to save money. Balcony has a sort of extension to it though you have to duck down to access it. Kids might get a kick out of sitting there.

 

PS - Bring comfy shoes. It's a long walk to pretty much everything.
