The Captains Log

Just finished reading this and wanted to recommend it to those who enjoy reading cruise books. The book is called The Captains Log by Hans Mateboer. I downloaded it to my nook a few months ago and wanted to read it right before our cruise. It's written from a captains perspective. Lots of funny stories!

He's also written a couple of children's books about Peter, the Cruise Ship. I believe he was captain of the Noordam a few years ago...not sure where he is now!

Captain Mateboer is still the Master of the Noordam. He also writes a very interesting and usually funny column for Cruise Industry News. A very friendly gentleman who is quite guest oriented.
