It is quite a distance to any of the Rome airports from Civitavecchia, you'll need to allow at LEAST 2.5 to 3 hours travel time if you're going privately; even longer if you take the shuttle and have to wait fo a whole group of people to get settled on a bus.

Depending on the time of day..it can take a minimum of 1.5 hours up to 3 hours due to traffic..

I asked Romeinlimo the same question and they told me only 1 hour (this would be between 7-8 am), although I would budget 1.5 hours to be on the safe side. Again, this would be a private transfer vs. shuttle service where you have to wait for others. Hope this helps!

According to Google maps its 60 km from Civitavecchia to Fiumicino. So, by private transport about an hour actual travel time is right, barring traffic.
