You could cash a cheque but that has ended now... Tips are now added to your on board account.. so no need to carry tips cash. I would think this saves the reception haveing large sums of cash on board... You can get Euros cashed back to pounds.... You can with drawer travel cash via your on board account instead of by cheque so my guess it you can get stirling the same way as forigen currency.

Yes you can withdraw sterling cash from reception against your cruise card. It just gets added to your account and ultimately paid by your credit card.

There are no charges. You dont need cheques, just your cruise card.
