Sugar*Magnolia Posted February 21, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 21, 2012 From Royals Web site: Q: Is there a charge for skates or ice skating onboard? What size skates are there? A: Skates and skating are complimentary on the ships with ice rinks. All skates are unisex. We offer figure and hockey style skates in adult sizes only. Skates are very similar to regular rental boots rented at most ice rinks. We carry the following sizes: Children size: 2 - 7 Adult size: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 9.5, 10, 11, 12, 12.5,
born2travel Posted February 23, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 23, 2012 Very exciting to see that there are helmets available! We have two avid young skaters who will be overjoyed to skate on a ship, but they are never be allowed on the ice without helmets. Their parents appreciate the value of helmets for adults, too.
