Where are the entertainers listed on the RSVP Site? I can't find it. The only one I heard was appearing is Cashetta.

Go to the RSVP web page for the cruise - click on Entertainment & Activities", then click "Entertainers".

The entertainers aren't Madonna or Lady Gaga but I'll give them a chance. I haven't heard of any of them but hopefully some of them are good.

I'm calming down on this a bit. I just remembered that last year I did not know many of the entertainers that I actually wound up really enjoying (Anne Hampton Calloway, the Sean cabaret guy, etc.)

I've seen Richard Ryder from Toronto a few times and I like him -- he's hilarious. I'm looking forward to all the comedians. The quartet, Well Strung, looks interesting too!

I like the play on words with "Well Hung" OH, meant "Well Strung". They all look pretty cute and bet they play mean instruments.

I agree with gimme woof, Richard Ryder is quite entertaining! And for the "Well .......", I thought the same thing!! ("They all look pretty cute")

I just gotta get my ghostly white ass into the booth for some pre-tans so that I don't blind everyone causing them to mis-step and go overboard! We certainly don't want that!! :p

Most years I have no idea who half of the entertainers are before the cruise and most years I enjoy most, if not all of them. Andy always seemed to make good picks. Andy has retired, from what I have heard so I am hoping for the best and have no reason to think otherwise.

BUT....should any of the acts turn out to be stinkers, sometimes that can even be as memorable as one of the best acts like Anne Hampton Calloway. Like that poor Indian comedian (who never got a second show) or the cowgirl singer from Denver. Folks were fleeing the theater as though someone yelled FIRE! Or the year when the new Madame act performed. We felt so bad for that guy that we went to the second show just so there would be someone there NOT leaving (you had to see the first show. he was bombing, knew he was bombing and even acknowledged it. it was so sad.)

Is is just me, or do you think the list of entertainers really sucks?

Interesting.

Johnny Mcgovern was with RSVP on a prev. Cruise. The one with the Olympic T-Dance (whatever year that was). He's known for Soccer Practice (you-tube it), and is actually a pretty fun guy. KNown as the Gay ****.

DJ Mick Hale, has a house flavor to him for music. A skosh sketchy, but willing to keep you eye on it.

Interesting Entertainment Line-up. The host, is cute with the hairy chest.

Have fun.

Vidur Kapur is who you are referring to. That was sad! We had seen him previously on land, and on TV. We got there early to get a front row seat. Boy were we ever sorry we did that! We felt so bad walking out but he was TERRIBLE!

We left and while waiting for an elevator one of the RSVP guys in their (I think) yellow shirts gets on his phone and we hear him say, "We have to do something they're leaving the theater like rats on a sinking ship!" Later that evening we glad for the guests who opted for the second show when they announced the magician would replace Vidur.

The other time (could have been the same year) we felt bad for a performer was Sabrina Mathews, they scheduled her (second show that week I believe) during the leather party (or another night party -don't remember the exact theme). Being fans of her we opted for her show, we felt so bad that the theater was empty. She put on a great show, but it felt weird having only a handful of people in the theater.

I'd rather put the money in a slot machine in the casino. :)

If it's a "cashless society" I'm wondering how it would work if there is a casino? (Is there one? I'm so overloaded with info!!)

Also wondering if anyone can help fill my curiosity (god knows where that statement will go..........)

On the RSVP site, once you 'click in' shall we say under Currently Booked Caribbean Cruise Guests, if you look under Specialty Restaurants,

Deluxe Suite guests…………..

Reservations will be accepted……….desk hours. Click Here for more information about the dining options available on the ms Eurodam.

You can click all you want! It doesn't work!!

So are the Pinnacle Grill* and Tamarind Restaurant both additional cost restaurants??? Just trying to think in advance if we'd be interested but have no clue on the menu or cost.......

I know we're going to run out of time! I'm all stressed out!! (I guess perhaps I'll have to change my handle (& licence plate!) after the cruise!)

Merci!

We can't book the restaurants until we're on board unfortunately. Deluxe Suite guests can book anytime after that but the rest of us plebs can do it a day in advance at best.

Yes to Pinnacle Grill and Tamarind Restaurant being additional cost. I was pleased to find out Canaletto isn't, in spite of need reservations.

Oh wait - did you mean you can't click where the RSVP site says "click here"? Yeah, bad. I just went to the Holland America site and researched there. (BTW, I just search the Holland America forum here on Cruise Critic to get an idea of price -- it looks like Pinnacle Grill is an extra $25)

You puts your cash in the slot and it takes it! :D You don't get coins or tokens tumbling out but it gets loaded back onto your HAL card from which you can load it onto another machine.

Stop stressing!! LOL

Pinnacle Grill is more like a steak house - it has seafood and chicken dishes too. Dinner is $25 and lunch is $10. (suite guests can have breakfast in the Pinnacle)

Tamarind is Pan-Asian and $20 for dinner, lunch is free. I find the lunch disappointing but then again I am spoilt with great dim sum in New York City. Others rave about it.

Canaletto is an Italian restaurant that is a sectioned off part of the Lido buffet (for dinner only). They now charge $10.

Well worth the up charge. I've had some of the best meals at sea in the PG, be sure to try the volcano cake for dessert.
