Grothj Posted February 20, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2012 We are thinking about trying Seabourn for a TransPacific Cruise. There are lots of sea days which we love. On these types of cruises, does Seabourn have bridge lessons? We have cruise Regent almost exclusively for the past several years (500+)nights but they don't have an itinerary in early 2013 that appeals. So we are thinking of trying Seabourn Jan

ibnoland Posted February 20, 2012 #6 Share Posted February 20, 2012 On the Spirit's transatlantic crossing this past Nov-Dec, there were "beginner" lessons from 10-11 each morning and "intermediate" lessons from 11-12, followed by duplicate in the afternoons. Usually about 6 tables. More relaxed than serious...the more experienced players being happy to help the beginners if asked, and willing to overlook their mistakes and inexperience. We didn't play every day, as we wanted to do other things too, but had fun when we did play.
Grothj Posted February 21, 2012 Author #7 Share Posted February 21, 2012 That sounds perfect, we are not experienced but do enjoy the lessons and the duplicate games.
