Just off the Fantasy

Not a full review, but some highlights

Menus have changed from when we sailed in September.

No more salsa and chips, it is now spinach and artichoke dip and chips.

Soup was piping hot (I still have the burns on my tongue)

Island music during the day on Lido

Music Degree in the evenings every night except one

Crew was great as usual

I'm glad to hear you had a great cruise. I'll be on the Fantasy in June. This will be our first time on the Fantasy and we're really excited.:)

Was it a pretty smooth ride? Some in our group are concerned about being in the Atlantic cruising rather than the Gulf like we have in the past.

I've got my Bonine packed just in case and it's never failed me yet!

The muster drill is the absolute worst part of my whole cruise. I don't know why I hate them so much.

It was a little rough going and coming back above Florida but all sailings depend on the motion of the ocean. I have sailed Fantasy 3 times in the last year, love that little ship. Hope you have a fantastic time.

We leave Friday. Thanks for posting. It's been 24 years since I've sailed on Carnival, so the menus have definitely changed since then--not that I remember anything that was on them.

I have no complaints with the menus or quality that is discussed on these boards. If there is something I try and just don't care for, I just leave it and move on. Wishing you smooth sailing and sunny skies.

I have a couple of questions about your trip. I am curious about your experience in Charleston, my last cruise from there included a 1.5 hour mambo line thru the parking, luggage drop area. Was this improved?? As I am sailing again on the Fantasy this July I was wondering what shows were featured. I'd like to see something different but I wouldn't mind "Ticket to Ride" again. The Fantasy was a fine trip and we look forward to our return trip.

Sorry, I can't answer about parking. We stayed at motel and took a cab to port. Ticket to Ride still going strong with different lead singers. The guy was good, the girl not so much. Cant remember the other show but it was the same with the talking loveseat.

This past December "Ticket to Ride" was still there as well as the traffic maze.
