CruiseNut24 Posted February 26, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 26, 2012 Was wondering how late you can wait to buy travel insurance. I wont be going on our cruise until October this year. I usually buy the insurance for medical and emergency evacuation - cruising to Hawaii from San Francisco, and would hate to pay to get evacted from the middle of the Pacific. Trying to figure if I need to buy the insurance now, or wait until I get closer to cruise time. Thanks

However, if you need pre-existing conditions coverage, you'll want to get it within 30 days of your deposit or no later than your final payment depending on the plan.
