I thought I would check for a good deal for a wellness cabin in the Med for Sep. In light of recent problems I expected some good deals. For the right Price I was thinking Hmmmm.

Imagine my surprise when 11 Days on Costa in a wellness cabin was 100$$$ more then Celebrity in a spa cabin. Oh here's the kicker...The costa cruise was one less day. I really did laugh out loud....Are you kidding me this Company is going to go Bye Bye....Just thought I would share.

I posted on another thread about the reports from financial analysts.

 

The bookings are down 10% to 20% across the industry and down 35% on Costa specifically.

 

However the cruise lines are not greatly discounting prices in an attempt to maintain overall revenue levels. Overall the cruise prices are higher (seasonally) this year then similar periods in recent past years.

 

Some people are still finding good spot deals, but people should not expect wide-scale cruise price declines across the industry.
