Amsterdam to airport check-in time

Trying to find out if 10:00 is too early to book an outgoing flight back to the states?

Pretty tight. Security on flights departing to the US can take awhile. What if there is any issue getting off the ship? I am looking at flights home from AMS after a cruise right now. I am not planning on anything before 11 or 11:30.

I've been wondering the same thing. Our flight out of AMS is at 10:10. We plan on taking advantage of the option to keep your luggage in your cabin and then being in the first group called to walk off the ship in the morning. We did an "all inclusive" reservation for this trip and the travel agency made the arrangements -- I'm just a bit leery!!

The security at AMS is fierce! It can take a lot of time. Whatever you do, don't argue with any of the security people. You can't 'opt out' of the body scanning machines. Just do them!

 

I have watched Americans argue with security people in the UK and in Europe and it never turns out well.
