I have a friend on this cruise..she posted on facebook there was a huge bang last night and a tremendous vibration on the ship for about 1 1/2 hours...now the ship is slowly making its way back to Miami.

It cost them over $600 to change their flight plans home..

Wonder if the med evac is for a crewperson and related to the propulsion problem?

 

$600 is why you get cruise insurance.

they do have the insurance but they have to lay it out first and then get reimbursed.

She has been on approx. 25 cruises with Carnival and never had a problem like this before. Guess there is a first time for everything.

Received email from Liberty. It is due to a crew member falling ill. Advised to not come to terminal not before 3pm.
