Air port transfers

We've always considered the O transfer NOT to be worth the price. Maybe if you have a long way to go (say Civitavecchia to Rome). We usually just take a cab, and if it's a long trip we find some other way to do it. From Heathrow to Dover we once took the bus (the public bus, not O's bus) and another time we shared a car with another couple going to the ship. From Rome to Civitavecchia, we used romecabs with two other couples.

Some people don't care about the price, and just like the ease of ordering the transfer where there's nothing to worry about.

If you are doing a deviation (or just coming in on another day) you will have to arrange your own transportation anyway.

Are the transfers worth the price ? For the transfers in Miami the cost is 120 rt which seems high. Is it a bus, limos or what. Thanks a lot for the info.

The cab is $25. O transport is a bus and you sit around waiting a bit for other passengers. Then on the return to airport they drop you off at the FAR end of the terminal not at the entrance to your airline and it's a LONG walk.

Take a taxi to the airport. They are readily available and much, much less expensive then O's transportation. We never, if we can avoid it, take O's transfers but book our own via the internet, or in the case of Miami, take a taxi at the terminal.
