More Trouble For Mexico.......

I just heard on cable news a 7.9 earthquake hit Acapulco. I didn't hear any reports about injuries or damage as news is apparently just starting to come in according to the report I heard.

 

Probably a good thing HAL ships no longer call there.

 

Prayers for those who have been impacted directly by this act of nature.

7.9 is a very powerful quake. Ordinary construction will likely sustain serious damage. Let's hope there are not many casualties.

CNN now reports it was 120 miles from Acapulco and in a fairly remote area..........still no reports on damage.

The reports I've heard are no damage in Mexico City though they expected there would have been.

 

They have had at least one aftershock.

Every thing I've heard this afternoon has report little damage. Broken window etc.......thanks goodness.
