Can I bring a box of wine on Carnival instead of bottle? Would think they would rather have this than risk broken glass.

I would not be surprised if the object if the box is bigger than 750ml

We've done it. We had it in our carry on and they didn't say anything. We did only have 1 box for the 4 of us.

You may or may not get away with it. Technically you may not but quite often they just turn a blind eye especially if it is in your carry-on and doesnt show on the x-ray.

We are with N C L Spirit 29th April 2012.

 

Has anyone found problems getting off at various ports to get a private tour, rather than using N C L excursions. i;e Time factor!!!

You may want to report your question on the NCL section. Posting a question at the end of a thread on a completely different subject will not get you many answers. For instance, on this thread, since the original question deals with Carnival, not too many people familiar with NCL will read this far.
