We've stayed in this PH on the Gem and loved it. We really like the aft facing suites - not much breeze when underway. We don't find it to be a problem seeing what we have just passed. If we want to know what is ahead we just turn on the bridge cam on the TV. It is wonderful to sit there as we pull out of port and watch as it fades into the distance.

 

It is efficiently laid out. The bathroom is a decent size with a tub/shower combo. Balcony is fine and can fit at least on lounger along with two chairs and a side table. If available, a deck 10 aft has the largest balcony.

Many thanks for your input, we have stated before in a aft penthouse on the Spirit,Miami to Los Angeles and that was dead center,and loved the location,

but was wondering if the corner aft would have a wind issue also is there much of an advantage by moving up two decks

Just for the record. I misread your original post. We stayed in 8132. When we were on deck 10, we did get to know the folks in the corner cabin. They never complained about wind.

 

We, too, have loved the center after PH on the Spirit. Unfortunately, the aft PH's on the jewel class ships are not nearly as large. They are still great.
