Does one have to electronically redeem VISA points now? I have not redeemed any points since that has been an option. I really do not want to sign up as required now to use the system.. Can I still do it the old fashioned way with a phone call to VISA? And then apply the certificate afterwards? I really only have used the pts for OBC. Thanks for your help directing me. barb1256 Posted March 28, 2012 #2 Share Posted March 28, 2012 I just called Bank of America and they redirected me to the RCI point redemption area. I did require a booking number in order to redeem. I redeemed for OBC and she said it would be on my account when I board. I just got my invoice and the points have been deducted. He told me I could cancel his account and put his 10,000 points on mine, anyone ever do that yet? I'm sure it's not as easy as it seems, or is it. Someone told me at BOA, I can do it, but I'd have to use them in 30 days(?) So, I guess if that is the case, I'll do it right before our next cruise, (2-13) Maybe I'm just thinking how the airlines won't let you combine points.
