Cheap local prepaid mobile phone to get when in Greece?

We will be in Greece for a DIY driving trip prior to an upcoming cruise. I don't think our Canadian mobile phone is the unlocked variety that would accept a Greek SIM card. As we would like to have a mobile phone with us for use when traveling in Greece (and as a backup when on our Adriatic cruise), I am wondering if anyone knows where we might purchase a cheap mobile phone and prepaid plan upon our arrival in Greece? We fly into the Athens airport and then will drive to the Peloponnese area.

Prepaid simple mobiles start from 15-20 euro (smartphones from 100 euro) with 5 hours speaking time. All mobile companies have shops around the big cities:

Vodaphone, Wind and Cosmote. Cosmote has and "Germanos" shops with many offers.

1. Select a packet with auto-roaming (this will work in all countries of europe)

2. Because of a new anti-terrorist law, you must show your passport for register you mobile number.

3. You can update your mobile time in companies shops, in more mini markets and in more kiosks.

4. When update your time you can choose hear the instructions at English language

Thanks Anapli! Do you know if there is a shop in the airport where we could pick up a phone upon arrival?
