Cost from Airport to Dury Hotel ??

Anyone have an idea of the cost of a taxi, or are there shuttles to hotels.

 

There are 6 of us plus luggage flying in for a 7 day cruise on the Star Feb 17, 2013 we have a pre night stay at the Dury Hotel.

 

This is our first time to New Orleans any help would be appreciated.

With a full cab and luggage figure on $40.

Here is what my family of 5 with 6 bags did:

 

Price of taxi from MSY to hotel in French Qtr: $14 per person = $70 plus $10 tip = $80

 

Price of limo from MSY to hotel in French Qtr: $98 + $20 tip = $118

 

We went with the limo and were met at baggage claim by our driver.

For more than one person, taxis are cheaper than the shuttles.

There is a max of 5 in a taxi so it would take two taxis but it wouldn't cost any more than if you could cram everybody into one.
