BCCRUSINGCOUPLE Posted April 5, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 5, 2012 Hello Everyone We are heading out on our first cruise with our little one. We have sailed before but it has been a very long time since we have been on Carnival . Does camp carnvial take 7 month olds in there program i have read after 10 pm for a fee is this correct. Are little one's allowed in the dining room if so do they supply high chairs. Also any other suggestions from the pros with crusing with a little one would be a great help as this is our first mission with the little man. Is there an on board laundry on board. Rare Essiesmom Posted April 5, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 5, 2012 Look for a post by Cruisinmama06...she has the Fun Times for Carnival in her signature links. Every Carnival ship has self service laundries. Your son will be welcome in the MDR, and they will provide a highchair. To be 'in the program' for Camp Carnival, the child must be 2 years old. However, the may take him in the after hours baby sitting in the camp after 10pm. Not sure if there is a 1 year age limit there...EM
LOVINCRUIZIN Posted April 5, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 5, 2012 We had DD in after 10 when she was 9 months without a problem. And high chairs are not a problem in DR either
JinxyB Posted April 5, 2012 #4 Share Posted April 5, 2012 There are also for fee ($6.75 plus tip/hr) for under 2's for about 4-5 hours during port days. On sea days you can play with your child in Camp Carnival from 8-10AM or drop off for a fee. The night owl program I think is from 10-3AM and you pay for that one too. I have used the for-fee babysitting on Carnival when my son was 9 months and 15 months and felt very comfortable doing so.
