For free or for fee?

I am sailing on Carnival Inspiration next week and have not sailed Carnival in several years. Although I will be dining in the main dining room, I see many alternative dining options as well. What is a free option and what has a fee attached?

On the Inspiration the only fee option is the reservation only Chef's Table the rest of the dining option are included in your fare.

Also free is Pizza, deli, grill, sushi, room service and espresso or cappuchino when ordered in the MDR.

 

And don't miss free Tea Time, Past Guest and Fun Farewell. Or free champagne at the art auction.

No steakhouse on Fantasy class. Specialty coffees cost extra, except in the MDR with dessert. EM

The little coffee bar where you get your specialty coffees also has pastries, etc. for purchase.

Thanks for all the info! So I can get a foo-foo coffee with my dinner/ dessert in the MDR for free, but I pay for it if I want one in the morning? Also, I'm bringing an ice cream loving teenager. Is there icecream available or only at dinner?

coffee is free in the buffet, mdr and room service. if you want a special coffee thats similar to starbucks then you have to pay for it (things like latte and other specialty coffees)

Soft serve icecream is available 24/7 - on the Lido. Hard icecream will be available at dinner and perhaps a sundae bar offered one of the sea days ;)

You can get free coffee, cappuccino, espresso at mealtimes (breakfast, dinner, sea days lunch) in the MDR but not some fancy triple whipped double chucked whatever. Booze in the coffee will be extra.

 

You could get some real ice cream and make your own coffee creation.

There is free soft serve ice cream and frozen yogurt mostly 24/7.

Yes, free in the MDR at ALL meals is coffee, espresso, cappuccino and hot chocolate. Any sort of foo-foo OTHER than those you would have to pay for.
