What $ to use on Mediterranea cruise?

I know on the ship it is Euro $, while in the Mediterranea is it better to use US$ or Euro$. Need help.

The Euor is the way to go. The dollar is not accepted in that many places. If they do accept it, they will favor the exchange rate sharply in their favor. If you exchange money, do it in the casino. They won't charge a fee like they do at the pursers desk.

Credit cards are the best way to go if they accept them. Amex is usually better than Visa/MC because of exchange fees.
