DP Posted April 27, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 27, 2005 I have booked 72 day SA cruise in a Cat A GTD. I have the option of choosing an assigned cabin but am hoping I will be upgraded since I am taking the whole cruise. What do you think my chances are of being upgraded? This cruise will also put us over 140 days having cruised on Seabourn. If this fact was noted in our file would this help? I was hoping I could get an extra 5% booking credit applied to this cruise when I make an onboard booking on my TA cruise but Seabourn says no way Thanks..Diane
bgood Posted April 27, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 27, 2005 Hi Diane. They'll know how many days you have without your telling them , in theory. But as Groucho used to say "It couldn't hoit!" bgood
Rare Keith1010 Posted April 27, 2005 #3 Share Posted April 27, 2005 One thing to consider is that if you don't go with an assigned cabin, hoping for an upgrade, that you could end up in different cabins on different segments. If that is a concern (moving cabins) I would go with an assigned cabin. Keith
cruisecrazyone Posted April 28, 2005 #4 Share Posted April 28, 2005 It absolutely does not matter which suite you obtain! (We agree your chances of a giant upgrade on a 72 cruise are excellent!) This is going to be the most fabulous cruise you could ever imagine! Green with envy--champagne wishes, etc.
