vancojo Posted April 8, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 8, 2012 Do the alternative restuarants tend to get booked up on formal nights? I have seen conflicting information as to whether reservations are easy or difficult to get on those nights, and am trying to decide whether to prebook or book as early as possible if we want a specific choice on formal night. There is no downside to booking early. Do it as soon as you know which nights are formal. Generally, we have found them to have openings almost every night, however. Gonzo70 Posted April 8, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 8, 2012 Celebrity holds a substantial amount of slots for on board booking only. So long as you go soon after boarding the ship to book reservations you should have no problem booking the day and time you want. Just do not wait past the first day as sometimes the restaurants do end up filling up; really varies quite a bit from cruise to cruise how busy they are.
