will773 Posted April 12, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2012 Night time temperatures shouldn't be too bad. It will probably be very windy though. Also, water temps in the Caribbean will be warmer.
golfer1966 Posted April 12, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 12, 2012 Temps at night can dip down to a little bit chilly as there is usually some breeze. My wife usually packs a light jacket or hoodie in case it gets cold at night...just in case.
Rare BillOh Posted April 12, 2012 #4 Share Posted April 12, 2012 I've had 2 water based excursions in St Thomas this time of year and it has been great both times. Evenings were pleasant for me, some people might like a sweater at night.
sailingawaysoon Posted April 12, 2012 #5 Share Posted April 12, 2012 How exciting, you are leaving before you know it! The weather in the evenings should be fine. I would bring a light sweater or jacket, just in case. I've found certain areas of the ship are cooler then others. Have an awesome cruise! Jealous in Georgia! cruiseguy1016 Posted April 12, 2012 #6 Share Posted April 12, 2012 DW always wants a light sweater at night on the ship. The outside decks and some of the venues are cool to her. I am always fine in short pants and a short-sleeved shirt. We have been swimming on St.Thomas and St. John many times at this time of the year. The water is usually 80 degrees + or - a couple.
