Water pumped into pool on cruise ship - had oil in it?

Just was watching CNN and newscaster reported being on a cruise ship where water was pumped into pool on deck and had oil in it - so when the ship returned to Tampa - they dumped it there - so no pool for a few days - anyone else hear this?? Apparently happened about 3 weeks ago:):(

I was watching the same thing. We were on the Triumph out of Tampa 2 yrs ago & just returned from a trip on the Miracle out of Ft Lauderdale. First I have heard of pool issues. By the way, in Largo are you by chance at the Yankee Traveller on Ulmerton?

No we have a house in Largo on Rosery Road - yep we know where the yankee traveller is though - our neighbour used to live there

Maybe they sailed through the 10 mile long oil slick in the Gulf

Or using oily bilge water!:D Good use for it, since RCI was fined millions of dollars years ago for dumping it at sea - let the guests' bathing suits soak up the oil!:eek:
