twentyknots Posted April 13, 2012 #26 Share Posted April 13, 2012 Congratulations on your win. It's more difficult than some may think to win the tournament. One not only needs to be a skilled blackjack player, but must use a strategy that is somewhat different than regular blackjack. A little luck doesn't hurt either. I practice every day for an hour or so in the few weeks leading up to my next cruise, but in the end I'm not sure if it really helps. We sail in 2 weeks on the Fantasy. I'll be at the blackjack tables often.

JKJG3 Posted April 14, 2012 #32 Share Posted April 14, 2012 Great job, Paul. Play blackjack on every cruise, but have never done the tournament. Have I heard correctly that its a $10 entry fee, and everyone starts with $1000 in chips? 5 hands a round?
