whow shocking:eek:... we had him as our captain twice on 2 different ships.. I hope things work out for him at his new place of employment..He was a good Captain.. very approachable..:)

By far the most approachable and friendly Captain we have ever seen in our 45 cruises. Of seen seen him in the gym in the evening working out and talking to many folks.

Oh sure, prolly got a bit more money along the way, but I'll bet a dollar that it was a quality of life issue and him being able to be home more often.:rolleyes:

Pier Paolo left Carnival three or four years ago and had a gig as a captain for Regent. I believe he was Master of the Seven Seas Voyager...

i remember readin he left ccl a couple or more years ago. i even think he's a facebook friend somehow. will have to check.
