coldweathergirl Posted April 16, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 16, 2012 I can't remember most of the meals we had when we sailed only to say that they were all very good, but a couple of things that stick in my mind was the pasta carbonara that Grant made up at lunch one day and the panna cotta. When I ate the panna cotta, it was so good so I went to get another but to my dismay they were all out. About 5 minutes later, two waiters came by with two more each in their hands for me. :o I shared them with DH.
Trend Posted April 16, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 16, 2012 I remember an amazing fish called moon fish only found in their waters. Also the frogs legs french style.
Wendy The Wanderer Posted April 16, 2012 #4 Share Posted April 16, 2012 I remember the Moon fish too, with vanilla sauce. (Then a few days later saw live ones swimming around!) Tahitian vanilla creme brulee. Cinammon ice cream.

Emdee Posted April 17, 2012 Author #6 Share Posted April 17, 2012 I think its on Polynesian night and if I am not mistaken you can have it everywhere that day. The lobsters are the small spiny ones but very tasty. Ask for 2 at least. Michael is a great waiter if he is around try and sit in his section. Say hi from me. newonboard69 Posted April 18, 2012 #7 Share Posted April 18, 2012 Which place has lobster? I want lots of seafood. We were told that if you give them 24 hours notice of when you would like the lobster they will try very hard to have it available for you. Wine flowed, large table, new friends met, and service was over the top!! Not sure if it will be served under the new management, and yes, I know we can get it at home, but ohhhhh, you had to taste it!!! ;)
