Soccer Bar/Pub Castries

Will be in St. Lucia on Caribbean Princess next week, and would LOVE to be able to watch Champions League Chelsea vs. Barcelona. Is there a soccer bar/pub that I can watch the game at somewhere close to where the ship docks? Any input would be great!!!

There are not any "sports bars" or "pubs" right near the port area. There are some very local places down near the craft market that will probably be showing it on their tv's in their little shantys or bars - you would be perfectly safe to go over and have a drink and watch the game, but it will not be comfy - generally, if there are chairs, they are the plastic lawn chairs or small, wooden stools - and very, very small quarters! Generally, they are pretty darn small places! Usually great local food though and very cheap beers!

You might find it at Auberge Seraphine, a small hotel and restaurant across the harbor from the docks. A taxi would take about 10 minutes and cost around $10-$15US one way.

Otherwise, you would have to head up to Rodney Bay for the bars and restaurants up there - Ti Banane, Tequila Joe's, the casino, the beach bar at Bay Gardens Beach Resort - these would definitely all be open and showing the game. RB is about 30+ minutes from the port and a taxi would be about $35US one way.
