Yes we got a confirmation within a few minutes. Did you check your junk mail? Sometimes it goes in there.

 

I think as long as you have a confirmation number you will be fine. You can probably use that at the ticket window...

My husband and I took this tour last May. (We were spending 4 days in Rome and had the hotel book it in advance). The underground part, although interesting, was not as extensive as I had expected. Of the whole thing, what we most enjoyed was getting away from the crowds (I think tour size is limited to 24) and the access to the higher tiers of the colloseum which are gated off to all other visitors. Well worth the money.
