For all those others who may be curious, WTG presumably means "Way To Go" in this context. I didn't know what it means and had to google it.

wow - Epic is on her transatlantic to Europe. I hope the passenger is okay.

we were on this cruise and it was a sight to see this woman put into a lifeboat, on a stretcher,lowered into the water, and transferred to the "pilot boat" for transportation to Bermuda...we were a few miles offshore...it was all done in a few minutes time and very efficiently....

 

the captain did report to us a day later that he had been in touch with Bermuda officials and that the woman was doing "ok"....

Better it happen near Bermuda, than halfway between Bermuda and the Azores.

True... although some navy helicopters would have been able to reach us I'm sure. Love it how it sounds like we stopped in Bermuda... nope just altered course slightly, and we still ended up ahead of schedule in the Azores.
