Epic stopped in Bermuda

we were on this cruise and it was a sight to see this woman put into a lifeboat, on a stretcher, lowered into the water, and transferred to the "pilot boat" for transportation to Bermuda...we were a few miles offshore...it was all done in a few minutes time and very efficiently....

the captain did report to us a day later that he had been in touch with Bermuda officials and that the woman was doing "ok"....

True... although some navy helicopters would have been able to reach us I'm sure. Love it how it sounds like we stopped in Bermuda... nope just altered course slightly, and we still ended up ahead of schedule in the Azores.
