Cruisin&Relaxin Posted April 20, 2012 #4 Share Posted April 20, 2012 WTG Epic, for fast action. Hope the passenger is ok For all those others who may be curious, WTG presumably means "Way To Go" in this context. I didn't know what it means and had to google it. marshabear Posted April 27, 2012 #6 Share Posted April 27, 2012 we were on this cruise and it was a sight to see this woman put into a lifeboat, on a stretcher, lowered into the water, and transferred to the "pilot boat" for transportation to Bermuda...we were a few miles offshore...it was all done in a few minutes time and very efficiently.... the captain did report to us a day later that he had been in touch with Bermuda officials and that the woman was doing "ok".... alex12_3 Posted April 27, 2012 #7 Share Posted April 27, 2012 Better it happen near Bermuda, than halfway between Bermuda and the Azores.
kirsty_r Posted April 27, 2012 #8 Share Posted April 27, 2012 True... although some navy helicopters would have been able to reach us I'm sure. Love it how it sounds like we stopped in Bermuda... nope just altered course slightly, and we still ended up ahead of schedule in the Azores.
