wrigley80 Posted April 30, 2012 #26 Share Posted April 30, 2012 I would do the January 2013 sailings because in November you could still be getting hurricane type weather.
MamaParrotHead Posted April 30, 2012 #27 Share Posted April 30, 2012 We did that Liberty route in mid January and it was noticeably cooler, especially in the Bahamas and in the water. Won't do that again, personally. We've cruised April, May, November and January and will be sticking with November.
MamaParrotHead Posted April 30, 2012 #28 Share Posted April 30, 2012 We Wisconsinites are the same - it's all warm to us! :D I'm from Iowa and I surely could tell the difference, LOL. :p
USA41018 Posted April 30, 2012 #29 Share Posted April 30, 2012 We are from KY and in those months, anything is warmer but we have cruised late October and it was really warm and I assume it would continue into November. We have cruised in February and the weather is coming off of the coldest time of the year and the water feels alot colder. It may not be cold in the Eastern Caribbean but with the jet stream and water temps out in the Atlantic, in my humble opinion it is colder in January/February than it is in October/November just coming off of summer.
