CRUISE4JANE Posted April 26, 2012 #51 Share Posted April 26, 2012 ONE OF YOU POSTERS - I think when he put MRD, he probably meant MDR, unless they call it something different where he is from. I was wondering the same thing you were. fishtaco Posted April 26, 2012 Author #52 Share Posted April 26, 2012 You've been duped. I personally apologize for the last 30 years of FDA nonsense that has apparently invaded other countries, as well. It's likely a result of corn subsidies and the American propaganda machine. "You need 12 servings of processed carbs everyday!!!" <--- give me a break Fat >>>> Sugar /rant The Fat free or low fat i should say is now through choice of taste. I have switched to using Virgin Coconut oil instead of dry frying/roasting By fat free I meant most processed foods and oils, We mainly eat Whole foods which to us is just unprocessed food. We learned quite a while back that the food pyramid was upside-down. Den
Webecruzen Posted April 27, 2012 #53 Share Posted April 27, 2012 LOL - Americans not being offended easily. In my limited experience, we offend more easily than we take offense. When I was a college exchange student in England (decades ago), I could offend half the people in the room just by walking into it. OP - What or how much my tablemates order wouldn't offend me. I don't care if you eat 10 steaks, 21 lobster tails and drink six martinis as long as you don't have gross table manners. That would be a real bummer because even though I would be offended (or at least grossed out), I wouldn't have the nerve to say, "Hey, Mate! Chew with your mouth closed, please!" or "You're grossing me out using your shirt sleeve to wipe your greasy chin!" I agree with this! Eat all you like, just have decent table manners.
