first time cruiser

Recommended Posts

We are thinking of changing our vacation this year to be a cruise instead. We will be booking a cruise for 2013 in less than a month.

My question. If I book now for a Sept 2nd 2012 cruise and pay the $500 deposit - when is final payment due?

I am trying to figure out if I will have enough to cover both cruise deposits and final payment on one cruise between now and September.

Thanks

I'm taking a five day cruise in Jan and the payment is due in full by November, that is also of 2013!

I save $40 a week all year for my vacations. Cruising- is an extremely affordable vacation. Adding the drinks, shopping, etc is what is expensive!

HAVE FUN! You should definitely try cruising. It is a truly unique and fun experience!

Just realized if we book a Sept 2012 cruise it would mean:

April $500 deposit (for 2012 cruise)

May $500 deposit (for 2013 cruise)

June $600 final payment 2012 cruise

and somewhere in the mix $620 for flights..... $2220 in 3 months!!

eeeeegads!!! Guess the Sept 2012 cruise is out :(

That's the due date to Carnival. If you use a TA and make payments to them, allow extra time for them to get the payments to Carnival.
