How much do you tip room service?

being a full service sit down hour and a half dinner tip goes for $1.92, nothing more than a buck for me.

We typically tip one per person we ordering for. We are a family of four and if we are all ordering, we would usually tip $4 or $5. Hope this helps!:)

I tip $3.00 but will increase if we ordered alot. I view this the same as pizza delivery at home and tip the same.

 

You can do this with cash or write in the tip on the receipt.

We have had more than one staff member tell us that they don't like the $2 bills or the dollar coins. They have trouble spending this stuff-some places won't take them so they prefer $1 bills or a $5:D.

 

Ever since I heard this we don't take anything but dollar bills.

The trays seemed heavy. 1 sandwich and a slab of cake. Seemed heavier than I expected them to be.

 

The delivery dude was of average build.

But I believe it's not that $2 bills or coins bother them, it's that they are of no use to them.

 

US $2 bills and US coins are often not accepted in the foreign countries in which cruise employees will be spending or converting their money.

 

Giving a $2 bill or coins is akin to giving them a souvenir or giving them nothing at all.
