doconner Posted May 3, 2012 #3 Share Posted May 3, 2012 They are sister ships, and have an almost identical layout, but there will be differences, and the colour/decorations are being done by a completely different designer. I've had a look at the deck plan, and for the layout the differences I can see are very subtle. There appear to be a walled off section for the 'sushi bar' on Promenade Deck, creating what appears to be a separate space for it instead of just having it on one side of the walk way. The casino bar also looks to have a slightly different configuration. As far as features, I assume you mean bars or areas on the ship. The Breeze will have the FunShip 2.0 additions of Guys Burgers, Red Rum bar, and the like. It will also have the 5-D theatre thing. If you were referring to the actual ship, I saw that JH mentioned on his blog last week that they added an additional stabilizer to the Breeze. So it will be mostly identical, with a few improvements.
pe4all Posted May 3, 2012 #4 Share Posted May 3, 2012 Cabin #'s are also different - so if you look at a certain cabin on Magic and want to book that location on Breeze, make sure you double check the numbers!
CRUISING71 Posted May 3, 2012 Author #5 Share Posted May 3, 2012 Do they have fish and chip on any of these ship? Size wise...are they the same?
doconner Posted May 3, 2012 #6 Share Posted May 3, 2012 I don't believe there are fish & chips on the Magic or the Breeze, (except for as a paid-for appetizer in the Red Frog Pub). The Magic and the Breeze are the same size: 130k tonnes, 1004 ft long, 3646 passengers when booked 2 to a cabin. Identical also to the Dream: http://carnival-news.com/2011/12/13/fact-sheet-carnival-dream-2/
