canadiancruiser13 Posted July 2, 2012 #51 Share Posted July 2, 2012 We're doing the withdrawls as well, when we booked ( July 2011 ) for our up coming cruise, it seems forever for weeks, days etc.. to count down. We still have a bit ( 111 days to go ) until we're back on board.
NMLady Posted July 2, 2012 #52 Share Posted July 2, 2012 I hope everything works out and you can travel on a cruise soon. Airfare can add to the cost and can be inconvenient. I know it is tough to wait! I am sure you will be able to go for your 25th anniversary. :) Thank you for your good wishes. :) We switched our credit card this year temporarily to an AmericanAirlines AAdvantage card (no annual fee for this first year) so that hubby can get more airmiles to add to the ones he already has. If his airfare is covered by frequent flier mileage we'd only have to pay for the difference in mine. I have some miles. We'd used most of our FF miles on our cruise before. That would make a cruise much more affordable. We usually cruise in oceanview cabin but would be willing to do an inside again. We've done it before to conserve funds.
