rtw68 Posted May 10, 2012 #19 Share Posted May 10, 2012 So glad they got it up and running. Been watching their page on FB for a long time and finally they updated their background pic. I knew something good was coming! :D Can't wait to add that cam to my weekly cruise ship sail-away addiction!
kcdancerkc Posted May 10, 2012 #20 Share Posted May 10, 2012 is there an obvious place to wave to the camera when sail away? FLL there is a building with a flag and a big picture of an eyeball - so you know where to look? I don't know if this is a new cam or an old one that restarted Any input? dmwnc1959 Posted May 10, 2012 #21 Share Posted May 10, 2012 Just in time for the summer deployments. Can't wait until later in the year when five or six ships will dock all in a row on weekends. :D
Pellaz Posted May 10, 2012 #22 Share Posted May 10, 2012 Awesome! I was just about to say "Cool, with this and MarineTraffic.com we can see exactly what's going on"......but they're a step ahead of me and put the MarineTraffic live data right below the camera image. :)
dmwnc1959 Posted May 10, 2012 #23 Share Posted May 10, 2012 Carnival Destiny gets the honor of being the FIRST cruise ship to be viewed on the new Miami web cam. She is on approach now towards the ship channel and should be in view about 6:15am. .
