Solstice class hump cabin question

Hi- We are booked on the Silhouette in cabin 7241. I have read one review that seems to indicate that this cabin is much narrower than the other hump cabins. Is this the case? On the deckplan it looks like it could be. I will try to change it is this is going to be a problem as there are 3 of us in the cabin, Thansk Jennie

Your cabin is the same size as the other cabins (not talking suites of course). 7241 has the larger balcony, so you have a great cabin. However, we warned, sometimes people on deck 7, port side, can smell cigarette smoke from deck 5.

 

For me, I would not do port side unless I'm on at least deck 9.

I was in that cabin on a transatlantic and it was great - close to elevators and nice balcony - now and again I could smell smoke but it was not bad at all

I had 9207, which was also close to the elevators. Great location.

Thanks for the reassurance. I think I will stick with the cabin and hopefully the smoke won't be an issue. Jennie
