Sorry, I don't know anything about these excursions but I can tell you it is possible to go to Orient Beach and not see any nudity. The nude section is at the far right as you are facing the water. If you stay on the left side, you might see someone topless but that is true of any beach in the Caribbean.

We took our grandsons and sons to Orient Beach last summer and did not have any nudity. It is a beautiful beach.

We were there in November, knowing that only one side of the beach is the nude section, but very surprised to find that where the two sections of the beach meet (directly in front of the parking lot) was the area where the exhibitionists hang out :D We got an eyeful (and some laughs) before we even exited the van. We were on an independent tour with Bernard's Tours, which was great. The "normal" tour includes a stop at Orient Beach, but it is also possible to have a customized tour that would go to a different beach. If you are cruising with school-age children, you will probably be there at a time when there are other families cruising, and find it easy to book the alternate tour.

Don't see anything here specifically stating Long Beach (or the beach at Baie Longue), but if so, it is on the French side at a resort often populated by Europeans, so there may be topless sunbathing. But should there be any, it would be away from the main resort (La Sumana), and won't likely be an issue for you. As for the beach, it is nice and plenty of water sports and snorkeling (many of the boats taking snorkelers from the cruise ships often go there).

I've got a girl 12 and a boy 14. When we were in St. Maarten we went to Maho beach to watch the planes land. It was their favorite stop on the cruise. The beach was small but it was a wonderful experience and memory.

There are better beaches to go to. Get a private tour, and then you won't have to worry, FWIW, when we were there recently, there was plenty of nudity right be the "nude beach" sign, so you don't actually have to go to the nude side to see nudity. That being said, we had a blast on our tour, and sans the kids, you probably would as well.

Maho is a nice beach were there shouldn't be nudity (probably the most photographed beach in the Caribbean), but is often interesting to watch the planes land (search for Maho Beach, and you will see plenty of photos). It is, however, on the way to Baie Longue, so it might be a stop on that excursion. You can take a taxi by yourself for less, and the Sunset Bar and Grill serves good food and drink. Heed warnings in previous posts, though, to give plenty of return time, as if you get behind traffic and the drawbridge, you will miss the ship (leave at least 2 hours before all-aboard)

Also true. This is an island often visited by Europeans, so there can be some nudity at any beach. There are also lots of private tours that know where to go and to get back in time for departure. Private tours will be less expensive, and often will go to places that are not visited by the cruise line sponsored excursions.

The description of this excursion specifically mentions the Dawn Beach Resort (Westin), which is on the Dutch side.

I doubt that there would be even topless sunbathing here, and I certainly wouldn't expect any full nudity.

Dawn can be quite rough at times, as it is exposed to the full force of any weather coming in off of the Atlantic.
