Canada/ New England Cruise

We are going on our first visit with NCL,my question is being on port side (Left side) of the ship can you see the coast land or are we to far away out at sea? I know it sounds dumb of me asking but my hubby says we are going to see the coast. Boston,Portland,Halifax,Charlottetown,Gaspe,la Baie,Quebec.Any info please.

As for Boston, Portland and Halifax you won't see the coast until you are almost there. Not sure about your other stops

When you're in the St Lawrence part of the cruise, you'll be able to see the shore from either side. After you're out of the river, you won't be seeing the shore until you approach your ports.

When we cruised down the St. Lawrence, it seemed to me that the ship was closer to land on the starboard side. The ship was docked at every port with the starboard side facing the city (Charlottetown, Quebec City, Halifax, Sydney, Boston, NYC).
