Flowers at Chankanaab

Are there any flower gardens at the park. When we were there a few years ago, we were disappointed that there were few flowers. It had not been long after the hurricane devasted the island, so I wondered about now. Thanks.

We last visited Chankanaab in 2009 and there was a botanical garden area:

 

 

It was not as lush and developed as I remembered from our first visit in 1999, before the hurricane that did so much damage (including destroying the cruise piers), but still very pretty and relaxing to walk through.

I've been there twice in the last 8 months or so and did not see a botanical garden there??? Where is it located?

 

They have an area that you walk down paths in a forest type situation and you see big carved rocks and stuff and it leads you to a small replica of the ruins. Is this the area you are referring to?
