Jewel of the Sea's Which Cabin

Recommended Posts

Hi we are booked on the Jewel o the Sea's for Jan 5 2013. We have a D1 cabin 9586 Mid ship or should we go to D1- 1590 Aft.

9586 in a heartbeat. Larger balcony; centrally located; on the hump. 1590 is a long walk back to the elevators (~80 paces), and under the Windjammer

Either sounds good ot me, I had a d1 in the back, not aft, but close to it. For a healthy person the walk isn't bad. Our roll call group had this discussion and nobody felt windhjammer noise was a major concern to them.

1590 isn't what we CCers refer to as an aft cabin - one that is actually across the stern of the ship. It would be towards the aft, but still along the side of the ship. Given that, I would stick with the hump cabin.
