Freedom Wifi

Can anyone tell me if the Freedom has wifi and if so is there a fee involved. Thinking about taking the ipad. Thanks.

We just got off the Freedom yesterday and yes they do have Wifi - there are several different packages you can order - including 240 minutes and 120 minutes - can't remember how much the packages were, but they seemed kind of high. You have to make sure that when you're done online - you log out of the internet portal, or you'll continue to use your minutes. Connection was kind of slow, but manageable.

I took my iPad last cruise. Just made sure I had lots of games books and audiobooks downloaded then switched it to airplane mode. Didn't miss the internet at all (ok, maybe I missed fb a little bit:rolleyes:)

prices for wifi start at 75 cents a minute, unless they are having a special. down to about 55 cents a minute.

 

I get online in the ports where its $2 or $3 for a whole hour. I brought my tablet the last couple of cruises and worked great for the ports.
